Would you date an emo kid? I would like to know how non-emo people look at emo kids. If you're a parent, would you allow your teenage daughter to date an emo boy, or your teenage son to date an emo girl?

Following what deardiary posted... why not? I have dated many Emos and will continue to do so. Once you get to know them, you'll really dig them. Then again, if you're not Emo yourself... maybe it's not for you.

OF COURSE!!!! Emo girls are hot hot hot!!!  Who would not date an emo girl?!? They are independent, real, without too much inhibitions, easy to get along with, the best girlfriends in the universe! I dated non-emo (normal, as what some people call them) girls, but sorry to say, they're not half as hot as the emo girls I've dated.

I'm a self-confessed, self-absorbed, 100% EMO! But weird as it may sound, I am more attracted to fresh-faced and doe-eyed gals than the rocker-chick rebel girls (although I was SOOOO in love with one about 2 years ago). Most of the emo girls that I've met are either aloof or self-conscious, especially about their emo style.
Girls who are so conscious about their physical beauty irritate me! The last person I want to meet is someone who looks at the mirror every 5 minutes.

Some interesting answers! Funny because I asked this in another forum that isn't really an "emo" place, and the reaction was mostly (surprisingly) mixed. I would say 1/2 the people were into emos, 1/2 not. I thought it would be like 100% here into emos, and like 10% in the other forum. Interesting!

Totally agree with Black Blood...
Emo kids are much easier to be with 'cus they don't judge you (much).
Also, most emo boys are pretty cute!!!

Hell yeah I would my ex was emo we had a lot in common and I love red nd black hair and the style, I. Wish I still had an emo. Gf my ex emo gf was the only gf who listened to all the same music as me, not all emo music but all different shit that noone I know really listens to like slayer skinny puppy nin combichrist grindcore and death metal all of the very many genre and sub genre of metal and electronic

yeaah as long as there not too emo; cutting themselves none stop forcing u...emo guys are really nice iv only met 2 so far tho i got along with em pretty well my parents wernt too thrilled about it (even tho we never ended up going out) but theres something about emo guys that makes em interesting

My last boy friend was an emo I wasn't emo when I dated him though so we broke up because I didn't understand him maybe I should hook up with him again now that we are the same about my luck he would be (normal) now
