Hah! Well, I don't think anyone has ever asked that to me before... but out of 10 I would say I'm an 8. The only reason I'm not a full 10 is that no one (IMO) is truly 100% of anything. We're shaped by our environment and the people around us.
Btw, if you're a 0 what brings you to The Emo Life website? Just curious.

erm prob 6 befire when i was real depressed and sad it would've been 8 i am nstill emo but i dont cry as much and now i like a bigger gennre of music

ive said this over and over and over again
The term "emo" is nothing to be used by us
we are not "emo"
we each express our emotions in almost bipolar ways
its a term that preps use to label us because they want to grasp the idea of who we are
but (using coplicated metaphor for those slower people ) we are water we cant be grasped
yea you can put us into a container and label it but you still wont understand us and if you try to grasp us by hand all youll do is get your hand wet
thats it nothing more and nothing less
its not a term to be used by the truly dark or broken hearted
and its really making me question the liability of this site

i see what you mean... but some people don't mind calling themselves emo. emotional. it's not a bad thing...

well im kinda angry from the day in general a lil bit depressed
but still you dont say it

i sometimes take it as an offense from people
it was over quickly
i took two fingers and hit the pressure point in the stomach and made him throw up lol
it was funny and i didnt get in trouble
its just been a bad day

i dont think hes bashing emo cuz he is one lol. but yeah, u have to really read into what hes saying is that he doesnt like labels basically, but i disagree wiff some of it is a thing, i label myself emo, b4 other ppl did becuz i know my interest and i know my likes and dislikes and style and im "catergorized" if u will as emo along with almost everyone on this site, I LOVE THE EMO LIFE! (darren does also) but he discribes emo as he sees it i guess, i do disagree that itsthe preps labeling us as this, (maybe u should see the opening pages on emo) we started emo our selves by the band The Rites Of Spring or whatev in washington DC ithink it was. just know its from him not liking labels tho he has nothing against emo and this site, he jsut sees emo as something other label u says, (this is atleast what im grasping from what he's saying not 100% sure im right, dont want to offend anyone) (darren u sure know how to get some ppl pissed lol)

and i have found skins
and i have became friends with more ppl this year and better friends

Apperance wise I'm not that emo because I have curly/wavy blonde hair but I like it so... But I am kinda small and skinny so that works.
Musically I am pretty emo because I am into that kinda music, but I don't play any instruments or whatever.
I guess I kinda have the, like, attitude or whatever emo's have...
So honestly I have no idea how emo am
