Emo is a music genre! You, people, cannot call yourselves Emo! Are you a music genre?! Emo is not being depressed, or having thick black eyeliners or black nail polishes. It's music, not people! Why can't you get that?!

I know where your vexation is coming from. And yes, most of the people here are not "a music genre". I'm not going to defend the emo lifestyle, but I will answer you with this counter-statement: Have you heard of the term "evolution"? If you know what it means, then maybe you'll understand why emo is not just a music genre.
