My favorite emo bands are (in no particular order):
1) Dashboard Confessional
2) Jimmy Eat World
3) My Chemical Romance
4) Death Cab For Cutie
5) Weezer - the original emo band in my book!
There are more emo bands I would love to include, but the ones listed are my top 5.

I'm currently digging Armor For Sleep. If I were to describe them, the band's sound is influenced by Simple Plan (vocals) and Stone Temple Pilots (lead guitars). But they somehow manage to brand the sound as their own.
Their latest album "Smile For Them" is so good, and the cover art isn't that bad either. Look for the song "Hold The Door"... it'll stay on your iPods for long!

I also like Madina Lake and Elliot Minor (going to see them in October!!!!)
My boyfriend loves Bloc Party, but I don't think they're that good...

Ugh...I dont think i've ever really listened to MCR(Please don't kill on sight!)
I am in LOVE with The Spill Canvas, there songs r AMAZING( and not just All Over You) But Catching the Wind or One Thing is For Sure....

I TOTALLY need to try out some of these suggestions on the forum. Problem is I don't really want to buy albums (in case I dont like them) and I don't want to download them... so I'm in limbo! Maybe I'll try Rhapsody or something, but guessing they dont have much in the way of Emo stuff. Anyone know?
