I love Haste The Day! But why is Jason Barnes leaving the band? He's so good with his guitar!  This must have been really tough for the band. I feel so sad for them. They are so talented. I love this band so much!

What? Is that true?!?
I always thought Jason's guitar riffs defined the sound of Haste The Day. But if this news were true, then I guess the band will have to move on. It's just the same as when Jimmy Ryan left the band, and we all thought they would not be able to recover.

Yes, it's truly sad, but it's just the way the cookie crumbles. Haste The Day is actually a Christian screamo band, and Jason decided he does not believe in God or in Jesus. They thought that it's really difficult to continue singing Christian songs with a non-believer in the group. So, the band asked Jason to leave.

I have listened to some of the songs of this band, and they really have talent. This must be a tough call, as Jason has been with the band from the start. I'm sure they can find good guitarists to fill his place, but it really is different starting over with someone new.
