I was browsing the very extensive YouTube catalog for emo and screamo songs and videos. Imagine my surprise when I found a video of a true-blue screamo auditioning for Americal Idol! I don't know which season he auditioned for, but the judges really didn't take screamo quite nicely.

 No, no, the world of Britney, Madonna, Rihanna and the High School Musical is not ready for real music. Poor guy. Simon, Paula and Randy are not his audience. They will never understand, although I always have this idea that Simon is an emo by heart. He just doesn't do the emo get-up, but he is an emo by lifestyle. What do you think?

He screams pretty well, but he will never get anything pleasant or just even decent from the AI judges. He knew that before he tried out, but I guess he thought it was about time to let people recognize good music.
About Simon being emo, I don't think so. He is depressing, not depressed.

Don't worry about that guy. I'm pretty sure he had a really good time messing around with Paula and Simon!  He is so brilliant! He did a fantastic job of not only introducing screamo to America, but of pissing the judges, as well! I totally enjoyed the look on their faces after his audition! Great guy!!!
