I've been a little slow myself... and I'm the moderator!!! I just got slammed with a ton of work, so didn't have as much time to pop in here the last few days. As for everyone else... maybe they're all watching the Olympics, totally have nothing to say, or are all stoned... don't know.  It does seem that people are lurking based on the view counts.

at the moment my sick teacher has just dumped my with a ton of work
and he is not even here!!
he sent an email to the sub and now we have bucket loads of work to do.

I'm one of the "lurkers" (though some would call me stalker) in most forums, including these ones. I love to read what others are saying, but don't really post. It's funny because when the forums are busier, I tend to shy away from posting since I know most of my posts get lost in the shuffle. Forums remind me of school sometimes... there are those that form their clicks and bonds and "newbies" or outsiders sometimes get ignored. Anyway, I've been around but more reading and enjoying than anything.

Hey tatu (the plane, the plane!)... ok, reference to that show "Fantasy Island" that my parents used to watch back in the day. In any case, thanks for coming out of the shadows! Don't feel like you have nothing to contribute. You'll find that you're actually part of the "click" here. Hey, were all emo... everyone of us ARE the click! So, make sure to speak your mind.

I'm still here... still getting to understand the emo lifestyle. I've read a lot of the articles here and on a few other websites. After reading them I was thinking "hey, maybe I am emo and just don't know it!?!?" I wonder if that's how gay people feel when they first discover they might be gay. Kinda that confusion of "people say I'm X, but I'm really Y... but maybe they're right and I am X!" Anyway, always interesting to see what the rest of you are writing.

Hey cool chick.
Well, if that's you in the pic... the black eye makeup would definitely make some people thing you're emo. Maybe you are... and is that a bad thing? Emo people are very cool people who understand the world perhaps better than most "normal" people. Just be yourself, and if that happens to mean you're considered emo... then so be it!

Yeah, that's me from a year ago. I've changed a little since then, but perhaps more emo now. LOL! My hair has some black streaks in it now and my eye makeup changes from time to time. I've also lost a little weight. Other than that, same me.

Personally, I find the relatively small user base more inviting. In forums where there are thousands of posters posting hundreds of messages per day, it's WAYYYY to much to keep up with. School alone is hard enough to keep up with, who has time to sift through hundreds of daily messages? I've seen forum threads go from 1 page to 50+ pages in less than 2 days (REALLY)! You know what? I hate that. I would prefer to keep things small and get to know people rather than fade into the background.

I think a smaller base of users is cool, but I also like to come and see more activity and more topics going on. I think this site is awesome and I absolutely LOVE the design and style, but it would be great if there were like another 5 to 10 peeps who posted consistently. You know, just to keep things varied. My 3cents.
